My Time in Morocco
The Kingdom of Morocco, from its Barbary Coast to the High Atlas Mountains and into its sandy Sahara, is a magic and mysterious place. These pages are an attempt to show you the Morocco that I came to love (and, at times, hate), its people, and its culture. These are my impressions; take from them what you want.
I only had a point and shoot camera while I was there but Morocco made me want to be a photographer, and despite their poor quality (a $50 camera and low-grade film) these images are still some of my favorites. Shortly after returning to the US I bought an SLR camera, and while the quality of my images may have improved, I've been unable to find such intriguing subject matter. The already low image quality of these shots has been further compromised for quicker access over the web although, for me, picture quality is always of secondary importance to what the image evokes in the mind of the viewer.
